After an awesome start, a few dips, and strong conference finish, ECU Pirates prepare for the Conference USA championship game against a tough opponent, Tulsa. If we win, we are Liberty Bowl bound. Speaking of Bowl bound, the Wolfpack got their second wind when they defeated us and are now Bowl eligible. They have some young strong offensive talent, so I think we can plan on seeing red and hearing howls in ACC football to come.

September 25, 2008Our very own Remi cheered with the UNC Cheerleaders at the game on this past Saturday against Virginia Tech. She is also an All American Cheerleader, and she will be cheering at Walt Disney coming soon. When I get pictures, I will post them. We can celebrate with her. Way to cheer Remi!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Pirate Passion
September 12, 2008I haven’t updated as I intended to do. It has been crazy. My Pirates, nationally ranked #14, smoked WVA for the first time in a long time. They kept them out of the end zone only permitting a measly field goal. 24-3, the PIRATES absolutely rock! This week, they take on the Green Wave of Tulane entering hurricane zone. In the past, hurricanes have brought good luck to the Pirates, defeating Miami during the Dennis triple storm saga. Pirates stay tough and release your super stuff against that Green Wave, our first conference game. Big goals require big responsibility and focus! Catch the game on Saturday at 3:00.

September 2, 2008The Pirates secured their victory over the Virginia Tech Hoakies by blocking a punt and scoring a touchdown with mere minutes remaining. This 27-22 win is huge for the PIRATE NATION. Stay tuned as the Pirates host West Virginia, ranked #7, this Saturday.
